MAX Tourism and Iberian MICE Forums have joined to promote the next event to be held in Algarve in the Scandinavian market. The last edition took place from 28.02.-01.03.16 at Hotel Melia Villaitana at Costa Blanca. The event has been praised by some of the nearly 50 Hosted Buyers from several european countries that took part and Providers from Spain and Portugal. The Iberian MICE Forum Luxury Edition will be the first one-to-one event in the Meeting Industry exclusively focused on the Luxury MICE segment, in order to meet the market demand expressed by many Industry partners of having a quality event targeted only at influential buyers for high-level meetings, luxury product launches and high-end incentives. All events include professional meetings, social program with the possibility of networking, one teambuilding activity and a previous Fam Trip where the Hosted Buyers can discover the destination first hand.
The next edition will be held from 26 to 28 June 2016 at the Pine Cliffs Hotel Algarve (former Sheraton Algarve). The destination was chosen because it offers a wide range of luxury hotels, both large Resorts and Boutique Hotels or typical historic “Pousadas”. It also offers additional services for demanding customers, such as gourmet restaurants, world renowned golf courses, luxury yacht clubs and unique landscapes with many options for outdoor activities.
This Forum will be smaller than other issues and bringing together 30-35 event organizers across Europe and a selection of 35-40 exclusive suppliers such as luxury hotels, boutique hotels, luxury venues and destinations from Spain and Portugal in order to promote their destinations within the MICE luxury segment.
