1st MAXinterview: MAX Tourism experts in the Scandinavian market

This new section called MAXinterviews has the objective to inform the reader talking to an expert. With just 3 questions and answers we will try to find out what is happening in the Tourism Industry in general and with focus obviously in Spain and the MICE segment. We will start this new section with the founders of MAX Tourism Valeska Nawatzki and Alexandra Ströbl.

Q1: Why MAX Tourism?

The name MAX stands for our slogan MAXimizing your exposure & benefits. MAX Tourism is a Sales Representation Office and Consulting Company focused in the MICE Industry (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, Events) and the Skandinavian market. We decided to start this company as we saw that some touristic companies wanted to grow in other markets as the Scandinavian, but don’t really have the time to develop this market or do not know the right people or decicion makers.

Q2: Why does MAX Tourism promote in the Scandinavia market?

From our longtime experience working with the Scandinavian market, we could see that flight connections are growing from this market to Spain lately and that our country is one of their TOP3  destinations for Business Travel and Incentive Trips. Their economy is one of the most stable ones in Europe over the past 10 years. The people working in this industry are professional and it is nice to work with them.

Q3: Which are the main values of MAX Tourism?

This is a business about people. Therefore we believe in good and regular communication. It is not always easy to sell a product or service and we have to get familiar with it before selling it, so a good teamwork is priority for us to find out the strong and weak points of our clients in order to sell it the right way. Loyalty and commitment is the basis while building a business relationship.
