The PortAventura Convention Centre was recognized as one of the best venues for corporate events in Europe at the recent M&IT Awards in London, the best convention centre in Spain 2023 at the World MICE Awards and as well as Gold at the eventoplus Awards in the ‘Best Space’ category. Its attractiveness and leadership were confirmed again last year, in 2023, by hosting more than 280 events and receiving nearly 70.000 attendees, marking a milestone in its history with the highest participation and turnover figures to date.
In 2024, PortAventura Business & Events looks to the future with enthusiasm, anticipating continued growth in various markets, with special attention to the Nordic segment. It offers an ‘all in one’ concept by providing a large, versatile Convention Centre, six hotels inside the resort (one 5-star hotel and five 4-star hotels) and three 4-star Ponient Hotels outside the complex, making a total of 3,053 rooms, its own high-quality in-house catering. PortAventura Park and Ferrari Land, two amusement parks that can be privately used for open air functions, gala dinners, team building activities, shows and all surrounded by the Mediterranean charm just one hour from Barcelona.

Another of the brand’s major breakthroughs was its alliance with Bmotion Audiovisual, a joint venture created with the aim of driving innovation, efficiency and growth in the corporate events sector, which will see the creation of an immersive room in the convention centre, among other actions. This initiative reinforces its commitment to promoting innovation and excellence in its services, always focused on the client.
PortAventura Business & Events’ wide and versatile range of solutions for corporate events allows its Convention Centre to be chosen by clients of various profiles and for the implementation of all types of formats. The Convention Center has 24 meeting rooms distributed on two levels of large capacity (20.000 m²), and are suitable for hosting groups of 10 to 6.000 people.

Another notable achievement of PortAventura Business & Events was obtaining B Corp certification, in recognition of its commitment to sustainability, social responsibility and good governance. This certification demonstrates its dedication to implementing a responsible model that promotes increasingly more socially and environmentally respectful events.
Last year, PortAventura Business & Events hosted the largest event in its history, the major annual convention of the logistics company, Maersk, based in Copenhagen, Denmark. This event alone occupied 1.850 rooms and promoted 25.000 catering services for three days, with the participation of more than 2.500 people.
