Catalonia is more than Barcelona!

Catalonia is well known for its Mediterranean climate throughout the year, its strategic location, Barcelona International Airport, its variety of unique meeting places and environments, its wide range of complementary activities in a variety of environments: urban, mediterranean coast, inland countryside and Pyrenees, its innovative and world-renowned cuisine with more than 60 Michelin Stars, and of course for Barcelona, its capital, an international reference for meeting and events tourism.

MAX Tourism is representing since March 2017 a fantastic Hotel located in Girona called Hotel Camiral at PGA Catalunya Resort. It offers 145 stunning bedrooms, 8 meeting rooms and event facilities with natural day light and it is located in a unique environment. Surrounded by 2 golf courses, one of them is Stadium, which is known to be the best of Spain. Within a 10 minutes drive you reach the beautiful city of Girona offering a multitude of options with its dazzling coastline and only 45 minutes from the dynamic city of Barcelona.

Catalonia has so much to offer. Proud of its cultural history and heritage, geographical diversity, the town’s destinations and countryside which Catalonia enjoys, together with the nature of its people. This whole combination provides an endless array of attractions which are worth discovering and exploring. One of the most visited urban areas of Europe and a major world destination for conferences and events, boasting over 2.000 years of history. Catalonia’s four largest cities (Barcelona, Girona, Lleida and Tarragona) offer a wide range of spaces and activities, ranging from the most traditional and historical to the most avant-garde and contemporary.

Get to know the authentic Catalonia. From the Cap de Creus in the north, to the Delta de l’Ebre in the south, over 500 km of coastline of craggy mountains with coves and beaches on the north; fine sandy beaches on the south and three natural parks and large tracts of vineyards in the main center of Catalunya. The area provides several activities such as Nordic walking, skydive, multi-Olympics on the beach, swim with tunas or make a Human Pyramid (Castellers).

And don’t forget, a relevant fact that shows interest in our destination is that the sum of all the flight connections from the 5 main Scandinavian cities to Barcelona is of 69 direct flights per week during the winter season 2016/17.
