Sandra Oude Wansink
My name is Sandra Oude Wansink, I’m half Dutch and half Spanish, married to Hector an
d have been living in Barcelona since year 2000. Since I have spent many of my childhood holidays in Barcelona in the house of my grandparents, I have always felt that this was my second home.
When I’m not working, I like to meet my friends at a nice roof top terrace or restaurant at La Barceloneta. This is one of the areas where you might find me, especially during sunny days which is almost always. I also play the piano, are taking my first moves and steps in Bollywood dancing, practice Pilates and Yoga. I love to travel but can’t imagine living in any other city which isn’t Barcelona (at least for the moment).
I’m always discovering new things in Barcelona and this vibrant city is always so full of life. I love it when our groups get here (either to Barcelona or the other cities) and they right away feel at home and really enjoy their short stay here. For me Spain is really hospitable and immediately encloses you in a warm embrace. No idea why people would like to do their event in any other destination. Hola! My name is Marjolein and I am originally from the Netherlands, but have been living in Spain for more than 20 years. Barcelona is my favorite city and I especially like the oldest part of the Gothic Quartier, with its narrow streets, small squares, tiny bars and curious shops.
I live in a beach town close to Barcelona and in my spare time I like to run and do other outdoor activities. Apart from Sports I am a bookworm and a movie and theater lover. One of my greatest passions is travelling. I love to immerse myself in other cultures spending time with locals to get to know their customs and traditions. I especially enjoy tasting local food. I like to try new things and discover different flavors.
Mediterranean food is one of my favorites. Barcelona has many good restaurants and I am always looking for new ones, so if you have a special request don’t hesitate to let me know. See you soon! ¡Hasta pronto!

Born and raised in Barcelona even if I lived as a child for some years in the outskirts of the city, surrounded by nature and dogs I am a passionate of exploring the urban life and love to walk around the city.
I live in the center of the Old Town of Barcelona, which I know by heart, but I also like to discover other parts of the City, see what’s new and get the beat of this vibrant city in constant evolution. I love getting together with friends for warm hearted chats, laughs and deep thoughts. In my spare time I practice dancing on a weekly basis, but in its most classical discipline. And when I need a break, I turn to nature again. So, you could always find me somewhere laying on the grass, climbing a mountain or hugging a tree.
