Tourism companies with an eye on Apple Watch

Airlines and hotel chains already have their own applications for a new device ready just before the launch of the “Apple Watch” to be held on April 24. Unlike other releases, Apple Watsch will have a simultaneous release in the United States and other international markets.

The airline “easyJet” has reached an agreement with Apple and explains that the Apple Watch has been designed amongst others to offer travelers personalized notifications. Through this application Easyjet passengers will be connected with the application of the airline who will provide personalized information on their flights in real time.

One of the main benefits of this application will be providing boarding passes with a Passbook system that will make its use faster and more convenient throughout the airport. Travelers can also post on Facebook and tweeting stages of their trip directly from this watch.

Another company in the tourism sector has joined the benefits from this watch. The Starwood hotel chain announced that its APP for Apple watch will enable its use as the key to the room, without even stopping at reception. Marriott International will enable the Apple Watch to be used to pay the bill of their hotel stay as it is synchronized with Apple Pay system.

And we wonder … do you think some day we will all have a chip under the skip to facilitate our daylife? Will we see flying cars? What’s next?
